I actually now really regret not seeing it at the cinema.
Strange film, in many ways.. I found it very slow in getting off the ground, and a lot of things only really made sense when I watched it with the director's and screenwriter's commentary on (oh the wonders of DVD). Very enjoyable though - fantastic action sequences, and very beautiful to watch.
As a film I wouldn't rate it that highly, but as a martial acts movie it ranks up there with the best. Indeed, as an experience I can think of many worse ways to spend a couple of hours - go see!
